Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Central America Shuttles! By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

General Terms
  1. Service Agreement: By booking a shuttle with us, you enter into an agreement with Central America Shuttles, and you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

  2. Shared Shuttle Service: Our shuttles are shared services, meaning you will be traveling with other passengers. (Except private services)

Passenger Conduct
  1. Respectful Behavior: We expect all passengers to behave respectfully. Loud noises, including loud music from speakers, are not permitted. Please be mindful of others and maintain a respectful atmosphere during the trip.

  2. Quiet Hours: Particularly during night shuttles, please keep noise to a minimum to allow other passengers to rest.

  3.  Limit Conversations: Be considerate of fellow passengers who may wish to enjoy quiet time. Avoid dominating conversations and refrain from personal phone calls that may disturb others.

  4. Intoxication Policy: Passengers who are intoxicated or displaying unruly behavior will not be allowed to board the shuttle. The use of drugs is strictly prohibited.

  5. Inappropriate Behavior: Any behavior deemed inappropriate by the driver or staff will not be tolerated, including offensive comments or gestures.

  6. Food and Drinks: Smelly foods are not allowed on board. Please consume snacks that are considerate of other passengers. All food and drinks must be kept within your designated area.

  7. Luggage Guidelines:

  8. Size Restrictions: Passengers are allowed to carry one luggage up to 23 kilos and one carry-on. Oversized luggage may not be accommodated, and any extra luggage is subject to an extra charge of $15 per additional piece.

  9. Surfboards: Surfboard bags are also subject to an extra charge ($15) and must not exceed 6 feet 5 inches.

  10. Space Management: Keep your belongings within your seat area and avoid excessive spreading out to ensure comfort for all passengers. 

  11. Personal Belongings: Passengers are responsible for their own belongings. Central America Shuttles is not liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.

Responsibilities of Passengers
  1. Travel Documentation: It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure that all necessary immigration visas and paperwork are in order. Delays or cancellation of service due to missing documentation will result in passengers being sent back at their own expense.

  2. Driver Instructions: Passengers must follow the driver’s instructions at all times regarding loading, unloading, immigration procedures, and scheduled breaks for meals and bathroom usage.

  3. Cleanliness: Passengers are expected to clean up after themselves during and after the trip. If you spill something, please inform the driver and try to clean the area.

  4. Communication: Some drivers may have limited proficiency in English. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to seek assistance for translation if needed.

  5. Luggage Advice: Travelers are advised to carry valid passports, complete the online pre-verification form if applicable, and heed restrictions on items such as drones and certain camera equipment. The luggage allowance includes one large bag and a carry-on, with additional fees for extra or oversized items. Estimated border fees are not included.

Amendments
  1. Central America Shuttles reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
